The Wellington Region Civil Defence Emergency Management Group has prepared the Proposed Civil Defence Emergency Management Group Plan for the Wellington region pursuant to Section 52 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, and invites public submissions on the Proposed Plan.
The broad purpose of the Group Plan is to enable the effective and efficient management of significant hazards and risks for which a coordinated approach will be required. The Group Plan sets a strategic direction, providing CDEM Group objectives and a framework for continuous improvement to the management of emergencies.
If needed, a public hearing will be held on the 6 and 7 May 2019.
Submissions close at 4.00 pm on Monday 29 April 2019.
