We had a fantastic turn out for our regional Public Information Management (PIM) forum held at the Greater Wellington Regional Council in November. 

Local council PIM teams and partner agencies gathered to connect and share lessons from this year’s emergency events.

Speakers from Gisborne District Council, Te Whatu Ora Pub;ic Health, Wellington Emergency Response Team (NZRT-8), Ministry for Primary Industries and Fire and Emergency NZ shared their roles and responsibilities in response and lessons from the north island severe weather events earlier this year.

The Forum concluded with a workshop on how we could work better together.
